I felt like doing somewhat of a "classic" style figure study and I found a great reference from sitara-leotastock: [link]I think I spent 1.5-2 hours on this one so I'm not sure if it qualifies as a speed paint anymore, but it is definitely sketchy. Although if you look at it at a tiny thumbnail size it doesn't look so scribbly - so do that. ;D

When I looked at it in the tiny thumbnail (like the real small one), I thought it was a photograph. Even large, the arms almost look real.

Wow. The dress is wonderfull. The face... well, maybe it's just me, but it looks kind of bossy. But hair, body... pretty much the rest is alright to me!

Well, I tried it small and regular size and it looks great both ways to me! The folds in the cloth look great and it does have a very classic feel to it! I'll scramble over to that link and have a look at that before I hit the hay as it sounds interesting. All in all, fantastic work I say!
