Hello everybody! It's been forever since I've posted anything, so I hope you enjoy this. Something different from what I'm used to do it, but I'm pleased.I was inspired by this beautiful piece: artorifreedom.deviantart.com/a… by
I am also selling this as a book cover, for whoever is interested.
Harsh critique is welcomed! Please, I would love if someone were to critique me. That's how I learn and become a better artist.

I really like this work. The idea of a dress of stars is excellent just as the realization. The wrinkles are well done and look realistic. The idea of shining hair with stars as highlights is great, and the colors of the hair are very well chosen.
Also the blending of the dress to her skin is great. The smaller details are also very well done: The lighting of the brighter stars on her skin, for example. And I like the star she is holding in her hand.
The only things that could be distracting are the following:
Her left arm seems to be behind the cloth but the border is not defined. Probably you could add another clearly visible wrinkle that makes the border of the arm. Or you just make the arm a bit shorter so that you can see the kink in the cloth that is now hidden.
The other point is the hair. The torso is lighted from the left, just as the cloth. But the hair seems to receive no lighting from this light source, and no shadow. You could make it darker on the left side. And you could make the hairline brighter (especially on the right). Or just the way the rest of the hair looks like, without the dark areas.
Oh and probably a very minor thing: Give a bit more blue to the medium shadows of the skin, like the medium tones of the stars.
All in all, I love your work and I love the creative idea. The remarks above I only noticed at second sight (when analyzing the work for my critique). Great job!

I just viewed your fire practice piece and really enjoyed it. I am very in love with this! I love the concept, the colors (not too many), and the design of the hair and the dress to the stars around.

I would love to critique this, but frankly I can't find anything to critique! Only thing I can see is maybe her hair should be a bit darker to match the tones of the wrap-thing she's wearing.
