You have to know your own faults and flaws. I tend to really be critical about what I do, artwork or not. Call me a pessimist but I tend to expect the worst, but the upside is you always feel better when something goes better than planned.This usually applies to reports, applications, artwork, stamps or other stuff.

It's not a bad thing. If you see the flaws in your work, it only pushes you to do better the next time, because now you know what you've done wrong and you know how to fix it. I do the same with all my work. (and with good reason.

People have too high self-esteem nowadays. You should be rational and don't be sure you're always right and you can do everything.
I personally don't think my art is good. I'm usually neutral about the result, but sometimes I just HATE it.

Same here. I find that if I'm put in charge of something I'm terribly nervous about screwing it up, too.
