Yer welcome. Cool!
Oh, and MMitosi says that Cid-vicious showed interest in the University.

That's awesome! Let MMitosi know that we need to spread the word. I might have JFG107 post a blog on his TD groups (At least TD Stamps).

Thanks! We had to redo the whole thing. The island was setting up for its annual Water Festival when we redid the pic. Skyler and I had a great time.

Why go there, when I know where Atlantis is? There, I learned just what water can do. And I will be using it for discipline in the University.

Atlantis doesn't exist in my world. I thought about learning some water magic. My brother's starting to experiment with fire.

I think you did a good job on this one the body's look pretty real, the only problem I have would have to be the facial expressions or lack their of for that matter

I'm afraid I can't do much about facial expressions right now. I have to pay over 50 bucks to get the sliders for that and join DAZ's premium club.

I found out I didn't have to pay (such a shame). I've done a lot on this one so I might consider it for future stuff.

Hey! This is very good work. I like it, but There are two things that bother me. The eight-packs and the eyes. The eyes are kind of creepy and zombified, but I suspect that's lack of pupil. And the eight-pack...well, every man may aspire to an eight-pack, but the connective tissue that forms the valleys of the six/eight pack tend to lie almost even with the muscle. Genetically speaking, some people will have a more noticeable 'valley' than others, but it;s very rare, and would require near constant time in the gym.
Plus a six pack just looks more natural. Look around for some pictures of the abdominal muscles to get an idea of what I'm talking about.
I do love the lack of color though.

Thanks for the critique. I have to agree with you that the eyes need work, and I've been having problems converting the models from DAZ to Bryce. I'm trying to work the texturing so that that doesn't happen again. Same thing for Glenn's hair. It's fine in DAZ, but when converting it to Bryce, that mess of hair is what happens.
As for the eight packs, *GregStevens pretty much summed it up. Glenn's (The guy on the left) abs can be a little less defined, but I'm still trying to experiment on him. Skyler on the other hand is supposed to be more defined and is supposed to have an eight pack since he religiously spends time in the gym and is really into his looks.

Oops, I had a confusing typo in my last comment: 1) should have been "Glenn and Skyler are BROTHERS."
That's why it would make sense for them to have similar genetics.
Sorry about that.

Hey KittensDemise!
I agree with you that this is a great piece, and although I think your comment is intelligent and thoughtful as an overall general comment about "drawing guys", I do want to point out two things that immediately came to mind when I read your critique.
You said: "Genetically speaking, some people will have a more noticeable 'valley' than others, but it;s very rare, and would require near constant time in the gym."
But keep in mind that
1) Glenn and Skyler are models. It makes sense that they will have very similar genetics to one another, so that if one has the pre-disposition to have a visible 8-pack it wouldn't be surprising that the other would, as well. Also, having that genetic pre-disposition very likely contributed to them becoming models to begin with. A lot of guys who get into modeling have "genetically rare" (in the good way) traits... that's part of why they started modeling.
2) Because Glenn and Skyler are both models (at least part time), it's also not unreasonable to peg them as guys who spend "near constant time in the gym." If these characters were (for example) a stock broker and a school teacher, I would agree with you: there's no way their lives would accommodate the work necessary to maintain those bodies. But, that's not the case. When you model full time, the time you spend at the gym is part of your career: it's a priority.
Just thought I'd share my reactions! I'm in no way intending to tear down your critique, and I agree that in most cases people who draw every single character with an 8-pack are being unrealistic. But in this case, I think the body types fit the characters well.
