Something I sketched while on the road. First painting in a long time. Felt good to dip the brushes in paint again. Did find my patience was not as it once was, have to change the mindset away from instant gratification....

Thanks once again Mona. I'm happy you liked the painting. The colors in the actual painting are a bit more rich and vibrant than in the photo. Wish you could see it. This "style" is something I usually do in my sketchbook, when I'm just drawing, and not looking at something. It kind of fits into my "embrace" series. The abstracts of a man and woman holding each other "concept" is something I have been playing with for years now.

aww this is really nice for some reason. It's quite stark, but at the same time colorful. I understand the feeling of being able to paint again after a very long time, congratulations!
