Glad you see the eroticism in the piece. I have been doing this "Embrace Series" for quite some years now, and have a few new possibilities in my sketch book...

Here is another example of the priceless gift you have for extrapolating the suggestion of pictures out of mere shapes. I say "mere" in the sense of their being so fundamental, but, the truth is, when I was painting, I could never have handled shapes with this much virtuosity.
The lovers simply ooze out of the background as if they had been prepared for eons. Wonderfully tasteful use of red, too. Your shading and highlighting of the figures is very masterful, too. It looks like a sculpture in a sense. Surely you have had a lot of experience with this style, or at least have thought about it a lot.

Thank you once again. I do do a great deal of this type of line drawing in my sketchbooks. Sometimes when I sketch I open to a blank page and look at it for a while...then not knowing what to do, I put a line on the paper... a few more lines.. finally I begin to see something and then I go with it. This read one, however, is probably the most sexual of the bunch. I was surprised when I returned from a business trip and my wife (normally a little bit reserved) had hung this one in our bathroom. I'm not sure she really sees what's going on. I didn't tell her.......

The black and pink outlines around the edges of all those areas works incredibly well. The imagery formed is really nice too.
