Thanks....as a counterbalance, I am now working on a large classical religious commission where I can stand at the easel and paint with layers and big brushes.....

I thought about escher more then once while painting this. My piece is nowhere near as thought out mathematically as his work. My biggest problem is once I drew all of the disappearing twisting lines, where to put the shadows and highlights....
