According to one reading of the ancient Mayan calendar, the apocalypse has come and gone, and the only species known to have conceived of atom bombs, napalm, Zyklon B, and talking cartoon horses that inhabit a rainbow wonderland seems to be no worse for it. I came up with this image while looking at a series of sixteenth century apocalyptic etchings at the NGV. My main challenge was finding a My Little Pony skull; in the end I had to look at a Chihuahua skull for inspiration. Iβm amazed I managed to finish this without sustaining liver damage.Related content

its impressive seeing those plagues in pony-form, very nice work, and epic work in the details, such as the gasmask and mine attached to the ''war'' pony, the ribbons and the syringe shown in the ''addiction'' pony, and the hangman rope shown in the nexk of the ''death'' pony.

I fucking hate those stupid little ponies -_- Soooo this held a particular fancy for me. I've actually been thinking of incorporating this kind of humor into my disdain for the little bastards, and painting a few tortured ponies soon. This is definitely inspiration for the cause.
