I think a lot of fans miss this fact but both versions of Coloratura we see in the episode are the 'real' her. The only difference was her realisation that she doesn't have to subscribe to other ponies' vision of what her art should be. She has the right and the talent to define her own art in all the styles that she can perform.
To me, it is this that this picture reminds us about.
