Jhez — Daddys Pheasants

Description My father has raised these Pheasants from eggs. Normally, you would not be able to get this close to pheasants in the wild - but this summer I had the opportunity to take a few shots before they were released into the wild. By now, they are living free as nature intended.

Thanks. They were really cute - and when they were just hatched, they were not very big... much smaller than regular chickens.

They are percious and I am very glad they are free to be wild birds. I don't think I have ever seen a pheasant.

I have seem them, but mainly the adults, running for cover as you drive by in a car. The males are very impressive - the females look like these chickens for the rest of their life, dull and brown - but they are cute (and tasty...)
