This was just .. chaos. people running everywhere, horses that got nervous with every second that passed by, people were yelling around, not finding their stuff ... Matthew sighed. This was crazy.

Beethee snorted loud when another horses started to neigh, spooked of something. "well well, easy boy ..." Mat said softly before he started to place the bridle on Beethee's head.

"here is your saddle ..." Jian said softly. Matthew turned around. it was the first time today he saw her. he was surprised how she has outrun him the entire day. "thanks." he said when he took over the saddle. Jian was already turning before Mat opened his mouth again. "Jian, about last night ..."
but she raised her hand. "please ... don't talk about it. I know it's my fault .. I shouldn't have done it." she said before she walked away.
Matthew sighed and looked back at Beethee, who was looking with a 'what-did-you-do'-face.
"You should know .." he said.

Tack up and ready to go, Mat was warming up in the arena. he had sen the first entrant. he was ... outstanding. You could see he had already done this before. For the first time in his life, Matthew felled worried. the worst thing was to end as last ... or the place before the last person .. anyway, he could only dream of a place in the top 10. but it would probably stay with a dream. compared to the rest, he and Beethee were rockies ...

The grey clouds were slowly leaving the sky, sometimes opening a gap for some sunlight. it was still raining, but only lightly. 39 participants and many hours later, it was finally his turn.

With the music of The Lion King, Beethee only showed that he had the heart of a lion. They were both relaxed, walking around their kur like they had done it 100 times before ... well, maybe they did.
The clouds were moving again and suddenly a beam of light touched the ground, like a spotlight. Beethee snorted before he started with his final seconds ...

It is done and I am pretty pleased with it
can only hope the judges find that to even when I already saw entries that are 100 times better then mine

I calculated that when they would need to enter the arena, the raining has stopped almost

and yes, his manes are in a French braid no way that Mat was gonna cut his beloved stallion's manes
and braided is braided
