Description "Star Trek: Voyager book relaunch ladies"

The following characters are created by Kirsten Beyer for her Voyager relaunch books "Full Circle" and "Unworthy".

SPOILERS from here on!

ATC #6: Nancy Conlon
Nancy becomes Voyager's new chief engineer for the mission to return to the Delta Quadrant. She's a very down-to-earth woman and still uncomfortable in her new leading position - when B'Elanna Torres arrives, adding to her unease. Nancy admires B'Elanna for her engineering skills, but is unsure about her motives for returning to Voyager. Soon it becomes clear however that B'Elanna is anything but after Nancy's job and the two start getting along and working together very well.

ATC #7: Afsarah Eden
Following Janesways promotion to Admiral (and untimely demise) and Chakotays permanent leave of absence, Eden becomes Voyager's captain for the mission. As leader of the project "Full Circle", she has been pressing Starfleet Headquarters about a new mission into the Delta Quadrant for futher investigation ever since Voyagers return home. However, this pledge has always been denied by Janeway. After her death through a renewed Borg invasion the plan is finally given the go-ahead and Afsarah is appointed captain of Voyager, which will serve as the flagship.
Ironically, it is Admiral Batiste, with whom she had a rather messy marriage and divorce, who speaks out for her positioning.

ATC #8: Meegan McDonnell
Meegan is part of the staff of a medical ship that accompanies the fleet to provide assistance in case of heavy casualties. She is open-minded, sweet and takes an instant liking in The Doctor, who returns her feelings. But there is more to Meegan that meets the eye and only Reginald Barclay and Admiral Batiste know about her true identity.

I hope you like my take on the girls, it was a first try, but they pretty much look as I pictured them while reading.

After years I've finally begun Beyer's "Voyager" novels, and love "Full Circle" so far. Afsarah Eden is my new favorite character (I know, I know...sigh...I've read spoilers). I love how you draw her here!

Well, it depends whether you liked Voyager, despite all it's plotholes, technobabble and mistakes in logic. Because Kirsten Beyer stays true to that tradition at least. XD
Nevertheless, I highly enjoyed the read, mainly because I was one of the people dissatisfied by Voyager's hasty and open end.

I suggest trying, it's only 8 Euro (about 7 Dollar), so it's not that great a loss, even if the book sucks for you.

Thank you for your reply.
It's just, uh, Voyager is not Voyager for me without KJ, Chak & Co....

Oh, everyone except for Janeway ( ;___; ) will be there (ok, and Neelix, but imo nothing's been lost there...).

I know I'm probably being an old fart but I don't want to read about Voyager without KJ... she's my captain. *sigh*
Your artwork of the new characters makes me definitely curious but still, I'm afraid it would feel more like original fic to me than a Voyager fic, you know...

In thumbnail mode the last image looks exactly like a picture I saw in a manga once. I was like, "whoa".

IT looks great!
