Getting back into that beat 'em up grind, working on some new character designs.You gotta have a grappler character on the roster. Middle-aged dudes are boring though, so let's go with a spunky 'rassler chick instead.
No name yet. Outfit will probably change quite a bit too. Also please ignore that her boots are totally not the same length

Thanks! I don't have a bodybuilder fetish or anything myself, but I wish more female body types would be represented better in video games. Especially in fighting games I would love to see more female characters who actually look strong!

Thanks. As much as this project of mine revolves around nostalgia-pandering, it would be pretty boring to not do anything new or different. It's important to me to respect and reference genre conventions, but at the same time the last thing I want is to be completely derivative, so I also want to play around a bit with those conventions and do things that might be a little unexpected. Having more female characters in typically male roles is one fun way of doing that.
