Thanks. I can imagine plenty of instances where you might get plenty of light like this though. She could be standing on a ship's hull, planetoid etc (with nearby sun or other powerful light source of course).

Maybe. I didn't really think about that aspect of the lighting so much. The "bounce light" being colder would definitely make a good deal of sense. Hmm, got me thinking now

Thank you. I think for this render I just used two distant lights. Very easy. Mostly just a matter of tweaking the skin materials.

I've looked at this one numerous times, and the impression I keep getting right away is "oh no... I'm almost out of oxygen and my eyes are going to explode from my head!" Which means you did a very good job of conveying feeling in here. Gotta tip my hat.

thanks. I was pretty happy with the way the expression came through. I often don't worry about these sorts of details because I'm usually just focusing on material and render technicalities, so this one is a good step forward in that regard.
