Description flower-butterflies-SPRING! yep, I'm feeling like spring at the moment at last there's some sunshine here (with some random rain clouds in between) and you're not bound to freeze as soon as you step out of the door, anymore.

well, here's the colored version of Watching Butterflies, a little manga/anime (something that's grown quite rare among my piles of unfinished works) style pic I came up with a few weeks ago, when I was really wishing the never ending rain outside to stop

I know, there are no bunnies in that pic but nevertheless: happy easter to you all

Your "Watching Butterflies" is on manga style indeed. But not just any style.
There's a very talented manga artist whose I love the drawings and work: Naoko Takeuchi.
Other mangaka have also this "touch".

There is also this touch in this draw, in harmony with your style, and it's wonderful!

OMG thank you so much for your very kind words the art of naoko takeuchi actually was my very "first love" when I was younger and all into anime and manga I loved her artwork so much, but it was really hard-close to impossible- at that time to get anything like artbooks or mangas or whatever in Germany. I still like her style today, even if my own style has gradually diverged from the classical manga style more or less. still, I enjoy doing a manga/anime style pic now and then I'm very happy you like it that much and think it's a harmonious composition, that's such a nice compliment

And it's true, really. We can feel your personality in your drawings and your paintings, but also your taste ... I really fell in love with what you do, it "lives", there is a soul ...

It's thanks to her that I dip into the manga when I was a kid. I have one of her art book, I had to import it too

You make me dream with your drawings....

thank you soooo much, dear I was a little bit in doubt about her skin whether it turned out right...it seemed a tad too dark to me...but I got used to it I'm so happy you like the colored version
