Here's Captain America Steampunked with gears and cogs for you. His base body was Air Strike Wolverine with Loki legs, Lex Luthor right hand, Medieval spawn left hand, X3 Juggernaut feet, and a DC Direct Dr Midnight head. His shield is pretty much scratchbuilt using a circular base, fitting all the gears/cogs on to the face, and building a styrene frame around that. Different modifications attach underneath it to give the illusion all sorts of machinery is folded up inside waiting to pop out! You didn't think those gears were just ornamental did you? I even used tiny gears for his helmet wingtips.Related content

Impressive, but the green goggles seem to clash with the rest of the colors.

Hrmm, that was the idea. I was going to paint over them but every photoshop test color (you know, instead of painting right away, heh) either blended in too much or looked weird.

Still, perhaps a more bluish green would look less out of place. But I guess it is quite eyecatching.

Wow, that's really impressive! I love how you used parts from existing models and remixed them. I know that's standard operating procedure for people who do sculptures like this, but it never ceases to impress me.
