This is pretty intense!
I really like the way you've captured and executed the shot, especially with the droplets and the splash creating such an interesting image overall... or rather, I feel as if the splash influences this piece so that it is more profound and deeper, you know? Certainly, there is something more that keeps us engaged now that there is a splash and there appears to be a direction for that too, somewhat.
I feel that you could have positioned this a bit better by moving the camera more to the left, but I can understand how difficult it may have been just to capture this, so it's not really a major point, as such...
I don't really have any other suggestions. Part of me feels that you could crop this into a square by cutting out the right and left side, but I think it's pretty fine as it is.

The positioning was a bit difficult as I was using a non-waterproof camera outside the pool. I wouldn't have been able to get that angle without stepping into the pool and I just couldn't let my camera risk that. But I agree with you; it could have been a bit better. Oh well, maybe next time.
I'll try cropping into a square for now.

I like that photo too. When looking at it in small thumb I didnt think that would be a photo but rather a drawing.
For clock and water I'd say its straight-forward, not outside the box.
But the execution is very well, and a big plus is certainly the clock, which is a very interesting one.

Yea I went for a pretty simple concept. I was originally thinking of doing something a little more unconventional but because of circumstances, a clock in a pool was what I had to settle for. But I still like it
The clock is an old Victorian one belonging to my grandparents.
