Well, it was fun being part of the SG fandom, We're not small, but we're not huge either, so the result was a really tight, close knit community where you could be yourself, share your SG love, and make tons of friends at the same time.

It's like there are three categories of kids: the ones who make Sabrina a really tough tomboy, the ones who make her super popular and gorgeous and stuff, and the ones who make her like dark!Sabrina, with angst and black clothes and stuff.

I tried really hard to float her somewhere between the first and second, but more of the "average" girl who didn't much care what the heck went on as long as it seemed ok to her
but I have read so so so so many fics where she's either the first or the last
Puck's got the same problem only he's just either hot and mildly annoying or hot and mildly annoying and pulls pranks with accidentally sexual undertones (DO PEOPLE FORGET HE'S MENTALLY LIKE 11 OR 12 AND HAS BEEN LIVING ON HIS OWN FOR 10 YEARS)

In my early fics she tended towards the first category but now I think I do better at keeping her herself. I think it really depends on the kind of person the writer is, though. If they want to be popular girls then they'll write older Sabrina as queen of the school, if they're going through their rebellious period they'll make her punk/goth/emo/whatever, if they're like I was and want to be strong and brave, then Sabrina will be the queen of doing epic things.
I can see an older Puck having some sexual undertones to his jokes, but not 'til he's like seventeen. It'll take him that long to come to terms with puberty and not be grossed out by sex. But once he gets passed that, he'll totally have a 'that's what she said" phase which will probably last a good decade.
