Description you know that feeling when it's as if some animal is clawing at your stomach lining?
I came up with this idea a few months ago, when I was under pressure from school and such. I felt a lot of things, like anxiety, frustration, fear, and all the other nasties that make ya feel like you're getting an ulcer(I didn't, fortunately). and by the "hope" thing, I mean the hope that everything will turn out okay.

I decided to try and put an animistic quality to these stressors, and all of the ones pictured are combos of different animals(my personal fave is the five-eyed, two-tailed fox/caracal thing near the bottom). I completed it about two months ago, took me forever=_=with all the ink and watercolor details details DETAILS!
I should be making plenty of people happy by posting it. I know a number who are looking forward to seeing the finished product

it did, indeed a magnificent piece thgough I felt like I kinda undersold it. yes, someone saw it at the tail end of our neighbor`s art sale; she kept thinking about it, and decided to buy it before our neighbors moved. I was haggling over the price of the piece; but the sale organizer kept saying that $150 would be good(though I didn`t think it was enough for the ammount of work put into it; it`s as if she was saying that merely because I was an art student, not a "professional", and that kinda ticked me off).
I only get $85 out of the 150 anyway, that especially makes me think I was taken advantage of
at least the buyer liked the piece.

That sucks!...I hate how people think they can take advantage of artists just because they're not "pros"!
I know it's hard sometimes but: try to stick up for yourself! The artist should always have the last word when it comes to selling their art!

yes, indeed I should. it shouldn`t be a problem now that i`m actually ticked about this kind of thing, and it`s about time I renewed my reputation as being born in the year of the Dragon. not many people have the guts to downgrade a fire-breather(in a good way).

thank you. yeah, I was between a rock and a hard place when I came up with this one. hmm, I wonder if they'll eat my brain if they can't find the kibbles. speaking of which (taps forehead) *gasp* I think they have already!
I sold the original on wednesday, but at least there's this pic left. it probably wouldn't be a good idea to make myself another, just for me.

- I've been lead to understand that rice pudding is a good substitute for missing brains, although it does have a tendency to drip out of your ears and nose, usually at the most socially-embarassing moment possible. On the plus side though, it's tastier than bogeys and earwax, so it's got that on its side...
