If somewhere, out there, someone is thinking "Mary Sue", then right here, right now, I'm planning their demise...'Bout time I got this done! This came up in a conversation between me and ~JeTeMangerai , then again with ~Jeeaark . JeTeMangerai gets full credit for planting the idea in my head by saying Edna reminds her of Mary Poppins, but Jeeaark gets credit for...well...After she said that Edna would make a great grandmother godmother, I couldn't resist drawing this.
As for the picture itself, I apologize. If Edna's gonna be wearing a dress, then that means formal wear all around..Including Zafir's helmet...Yet I'm not sure why it's wearing a top hat and monocle... So I apologize for tweaking the outfits, and I apologize if I butchered any of your characters...Also, I'm not sure where Civil is...Tahiti with a piña colada maybe? I don't know...

Hah this is so silly, it's so them! I really like Edna's Chatot umbrella and Mary Poppins outfit, it looks good on her whether she likes it or not 
Most of all I really like Kekoa, he brings the right kind of crazy to Edna's party and he fits right in for it!

Ha! Thanks! Edna secretly likes her outfit, but she probably will never wear it in public. Zafir on the other hand, well...The day he wears a shirt is the day Edna wears a bikini. His helmet is far more sophisticated than him anyway, and it's a skull.
I was hoping Kekoa would play the part of the idiot. He's there to balance Edna out and to provide a good amount of havoc entertainment. His name itself means "the brave one", and I'm sure he'll live up to it if 'ya know what I mean.

Not really. Edna shoved a poffin in his mouth for trying to smoke and now Gid is about to drop him down a hole...If anything, Gid's a bad influence on Jake...

Can I say this is pure genius please? Cause it is. I just love Edna's dress with her cute little hat and chatot umbrella (I want it +w+) and the way you drew Kekoa is excellent!
I can't help but love seeing Gid and Jake as rivals and if not, at least chewing each other's faces off whenever they get the chance. Also, the gentlemanly lookin' Zafir had me laughin', love the idea and smart of him to keep away from the chaos

You can, but that's a little much...I think my brain would implode of happiness.
I think Gid and Jake would hate each other if they met, Gid probably commenting on Jake smelling bad and then Jake taunting back about his size. It's inevitable...Zafir on the other hand, well...I just loved some of the expressions he did with that helmet of his, so I wanted to do one of my own. Meanwhile, I thought Ribbit should be doing something cute to win over people's hearts...So far, I think he is.

Thanks! But I've got to say, It was kind of hard drawing Zafir. There was something about him that I just can't seem to get right. Also, I hope I mixed the color for his skin tone correctly. It looks a bit too red to me...The additions to his helmet more than make up for it though! I can already hear that skull-thing blabbering on...In a high-pitched British accent of course.
"I say...Why is there a fearow perched 'pon that lady's umbrella? And why is that strange looking fellow suspended upside-down? It's very peculiar..."

The way you drew Jake... So... Perfect.. And tied up dangling over a hole. Just. Perfect. And that silly plaid vest! AND A BOW-TIE. Awesome. The rope around his legs makes me smile the most. I don't know why. It's fantastic.
Gid and Ribbit are too cute. I love their little outfits, which one is with the scissors? I'm thinking Gid... Do it Gid... You know you want to. Ribbit.. I believe.. Him holding onto Edna's dress and looking at Kakeo (pardon me if I got it wrong) melts my heaaarrrttt.
And Kakeo looks amazing also! His wings or gorgeously spread out. And that expression is so lovable! You draw Fearow amazingly!

Dawww~, thanks! And she is plotting something...My downfall...Revenge for putting her in a dress. Also, I got the idea for the umbrella while looking through some pictures of Mary Poppins, for reference of course. I saw that her umbrella had a handle which was shaped like a parrot's head, so I couldn't resist throwing a poke-version of that in!
Oh. Another reason for why Edna has her "I'm going to do something" face on. When she saw that Jake was smoking around the kids, (A big no-no) she stuffed that pink poffin in his mouth (bittersweet might I add) and somehow got him suspended upside down. My best guess is she used psychic on the ropes or something to tie up his feet when he wasn't looking...The ropes came from her bag...
You are correct! Gid is the brave and bad one with the longer and lighter purple hair while Ribbit is the good yet timid one with the short and darker purple hair. In my mind, Gid probably commented that Jake smelled like burning sweat socks (he probably would) causing Jake to retort back and call him a pipsqueak or something (he probably would too), making them most likely hate each other. Gid would cut the rope, definitely.
Don't worry 'bout misspelling his name, Kekoa is a very lovable idiot with a curious disposition. If he was left alone with Gid and Ribbit, he'd care for them and/or take off with them, fly hundreds of feet off the ground.
I did ask Metarealism what Zafir would do in this situation, and he said since Zafir didn't know anybody, Zafir would try and look into Edna's bag, losing an arm in the process just sit and observe.
My watercolor pics arn't that good compared to some stuff I've seen...But yes, I like this one a lot. Can't wait to see yours though!
