Thanks! For me, the pain was varied. The outline was horrible compared to the shading, which feels like rubbing sandpaper on a sunburn. It took me about 3 sessions and about 5 hours. If I had to do it all over again, I would.

I have a small one on my back of my last name. Didn't feel a thing over my spine, but on either side I gritted my teeth - especially on round two. Yet, I really want a little uncolored, minimal detail dragon on the back of my hand. Which I know is gonna hurt like a mother since it'll be over bone. I think it'll be worth it when it's all said and done, though.

The closer I got to my spine, I didn't feel anything either, though it was HORRIBLE when he got close to my arm pit. I doubt the dragon would be too unbearable. I'm sure it would be just a one session tattoo. I say go for it! No pain, no gain!

The one I want on my back will follow my spine. It'll probably hurt something fierce, too. Maybe require a couple trips - one for lining and one trip for shading. But yes, the little dragon should be a one-trip-wonder. ^^
