On my game it would have been awkward since my mains are Charmander and Bulbasaur.
why? Char gets pretty good moves fast and bulbasaur covers all it's weaknesses and it is awesome and powerful to boot.
However, if i ever make it, the PMD game i am programing now, getting Hero X Partner will be the best ending and will also allow you to get Cycle 2. too bad that i have no help and that game may happen never. >.<
