I cant even make a joke against Felarya because I have to make a joke against that song... Every time I hear it I hear the parody of it. "Take off your clothes! So many hidden messages! Subtle and slightly lood but if your shrewd, they'll put you in the mood! To take off your cloooothes!"

It's funny with Jora. I wonder if she will be into the story about the woman Namne and the shrunken giantess ?

I... am I missing the punchline? Don't get me wrong, it's really cute! I just don't understand why Jora's petrified in the last frame...

Never sang secretly some childish stuff and then suddenly came into the room and you froze because you was 100% sure that no one could hear you?
Think that was the punchline

Oh, I see!
Β
Maybe I missed it because it'sΒ cultural thing? That some cultures might have the expression that you stop or become petrified when this happens?

Hm, dunno how it is in every country but I often heard that people are singing, if they think they're alone, but feeling "ashamed" once they know someone else is listeningΒ

Oh, yes, we have that to. I was just wondering if it was an actual expression in some cultures that you "turn to stone"Β with embarrassment, or something similar.
In western culture you "turn red" or "shrink away" with embarrassment (or something like that). You turn to stone when you're so afraid that you can't move (the word "petrified" is even used here).
Β
I'm just curious, I guess... :S

I often do Japanese style art and humor. The joke of people turing to stone when completely surprised, is a common gag in manga and anime. The joke being, she was so caught off guard by Kai, she was petrified from shock, and embarrassment.

Aha! Well, then I was on the right track after all. It is very much a cultural thing (if manga can be described as a "culture", which I think it can).
Thanks!
