Description
This is a fanart I did of Goodtree from the Elfquest comics. She one of the Wolfrider chiefs who had them plant-shaping powers. Ooooh....Sketched it out, scanned it, and painted in the 'puter. Time: 1 hr, super fast!
used a background texture by RESURGERE, but I forget which one, and I don't know how to add links yet. Sorry!

This is beautiful, really amazing work. It's more true of an Elfquest artstyle than many others I've seen. This is soooo gorgeous, I hope to see more Elfquest fanart. Goodtree is one of my favorite characters.

Thanks! I love Goodtree...but I've never actually read any of the comics that she's in. *shame* I find myself really drawn to the plantshapers...maybe because I suck so hard at keeping any plant alive.

I read a story in vol. 1 of the Blood of Ten Chiefs compilation novel, and totally fell in love with her character.
It would be nice to make green things grow wherever we wanted, wouldn't it? Could totally change the atmosphere and the environment.

I just never think they really tapped into how, just powerful treeshapers could be. All the other magic peeps got big moments of awesomeness... and I do feel our flora-lovin' friends did get shafted a bit...

Yeah. I have a ton up on the official Elfquest forums, but I haven't moved hardly any here.
