Description

All galaxies along with their many planets are in a constant dance that revolves around Bhrama (The Head God). Many of the avatar Goddesses danced in devotion and celebration when earth was made and then Lord Shiva appeared to mankind, therefore in the same light mankind dances is a dignified act of worship but also to ward of evil sprits and demons. These dances are regarded as Natya Shastra and attributed to sage Bharata Muni. When Lord Shiva came to earth, it was in the form as Nataraja as cosmic ecstatic dancer.

This rendition of the Kecak dance involves female dancers to present at the centre of the universe. The energy is transported to the dancers and they transmit above into the heavens to Lord Shiva then to Bhrama.
