Description
Taken in September 2000 at Stonehenge, Wiltshire, England. Late afternoon with a storm brewing.The image has been somewhat enhanced, with various colour corrections and touch-ups. I have been working on the image on and off for a while now and thought it was time to make a release. However, I may work on it more and re-release in the future, I know it is not perfect.

Made the image a more reasonable size and added border. I also left the grainyness as it was while slightly enhancing the black.

From memory of the original I would say not bad, but maybe a little dull. If I had some idea where the original was I could scan it in and just do some dust filter, sharpness, contrast etc. But at the end of the day I think this one would be more interesting to look at.

I cleaned it up a bit, the original photo was print, not slide. So it had taken a little damage, also I should have cleaned the photo and scanner first but I had got stuck into it before I thought of that. Basically I cleaned up some of the noise and dust. Sharpened up the grass a little. Took out some of the background details, being a few people and what was perhaps a truck. Really I was lucky there was very little human activity around it form that angle, and time. Then I just played with the colour/brightness a little.

When I went there wasn't a big fence around it, only some rope. There was a couple of people in view but they were very easy to remove, they were only to the sides and not infront. As for the colour I wanted it to be a little crazy

nice shot of stonehenge... The angle is awesome, but I think it would be better if the structure was a bit closer, the colors are awesome in the pic, the gold blue and the grey of stonehenge make a nice effect.

this is a very awesome picture. the way it's taken..it looks like if the huge stones are massive legoes, and god's hand will come out of the clouds and put them together (no I'm not religious, just seems funny). that was just a sidenote, overall this is a beautiful photo and definitely gets a +fav from me!

i'd make it a bit smaller... you can tell it was taken my a digital camera because of some of the color inconsistencies... making it smaller will reduce the amount that distracts from the rest of the picture.

Gorgeous landscape shot... tis all lovely and mysterious, and the color enhancements work wonderfully. It feels like there's another world lurking in the clouds, a really strange and chaotic world that doesn't follow any of the rules that ours does... or maybe that's just me being weird. Again, beautiful photo.

Great work. The composition is good. Maybe you should work aroung the sky a little, there seems to be weird red dots in the mid dark blue (maybe it's just compression though) and in the sky near the ground (this i definetly think it's compression...)
Anyway, this is probably better that most of my stuff so i shouldn't complain about that much... but eh.. i'm just trying to help you improve it
I would also like to see a image of the original since you say you've worked that much on color correction...

its too big. you need some major cropping, or scale the photo down a bit! its way to big to fit on a standard computer screen. also, when its this big it looses quality. lots of grain!
