Fitting title. The fog and curvature/texture of the hill gives it that surreal vibe. That structure to the left is pretty sweet too.

This is amazing! Just a small request kinda thing, could you draw a woman sitting at the edge of the cliff instead of standing?Β

amazing! your art is just so, I don't want to say minimalistic, but simple, with a sense of grandeur and the same time. I can easily picture myself as the character standing there. well done. Mission accomplished!

The beauty of this picture is the enormity, that little addition of the woman and her striking red hair really adds a sense of surrealism as you get an idea on the scale and fantastical feeling of the sublime. Extraordinary, love your work.

Ah, I really wish I had more time to just create imaginative worlds like these. I'm trying to figure out what those great structures are for. Giant summoning cards comes to mind...or maybe portals to other worlds...

Anyways, it's a really neat piece.

Love it! It reminds me of some of the cover art to older SciFi books. I have lots of happy childhood memories of rifling throught the SciFi section of the used book store, grabbing books randomly based upon the cover art..

Love the choice of colors and the texture of the brush strokes. What program did you paint this with?

Since it is a practice piece and you were experimenting, not sure how much intent was given to composition.

( Please note, what follows is entirely subjective. Ignore the crap out of it if you disagree. )

All the vertical lines of the monoliths lead the eye out of the picture before it can look around and take in the scene.
Visual flow is fractured. Enter from the right ( upper or lower right ), and the eye is led to the central monolith and out of the picture. Enter the from the left, and the eye has to literally hurdle the smaller monoliths to reach the central monolith, which again leads out of the picture.

There's a great sense of atmosphere to the painting. All the elements for an amazing painting are present ( color, technique, imagination ) they just need to work together a bit more as a compositional whole.
