Darn it, I hardly worked on anything this week with starting school and a new job, but SMT: Persona 3 is finally released in North America which mean all the great PS2 games that's going to come out here is pretty much already out, and not much is left upcoming for the system.

There's no point going through all the PS2 stuff that can be found anywhere, so I gathered some of the better games and things of my PS2 collection at this point before stocking most of them away. I tried to keep everything alphabetical but Suikoden games really needed their own roll because they are too awesome (maybe not every single one but as a whole), with the games not laying cover up being brand new factory sealed. Unlike games in my other systems' collections, I bought at least one copy of most these games brand new, I used to do it a lot more often back when they had the factory seals which I kept on almost all PS2 games I got new.

Everything shown in the picture include: Suikoden III x5 (1 brand new but not shown because it's been packed away for years) Suikoden IV x2 (1 new), Suikoden Tactics x5 (3 new), Suikoden V x9 (8 new), Dark Cloud 2, SMT: Digital Devil Saga Vol. 1 x2 (both complete, 1 new & sealed in box) & Vol.2, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness x3 (1 new), Gitaroo Man, Growlanser Generations x3 (Deluxe Edition new), ICO, Marvel VS. Capcom 2 x2, Magna Carta: Tears of Blood, Rez x2 (1 new), Shadow Hearts x7 (7 new, 1 case only), Shadow Hearts: Covenant x2, Shadow Hearts: From the New World x2 (2 new), Shining Force Neo, Shining Tears, SMT: Devil Summoner, SMT: Nocturne + Guide, SMT: Persona 3 (1 new, will buy 2nd open copy soon) + Guide, Tales of the Abyss x3 (3 new), Xenosaga Episode I x2 (2 new, black labeled first print), Xenosaga Episode II Promo DVD x3 (2 new), Xenosaga Episode III x2 (2 new), Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner x2.

There are many others I own that didn’t make the cut like: Grandia Xtreme, Steambot Chronicles, MS Saga, Wild Arms series, NIS titles (La Pucelle, Makai Kingdom, Phantom Brave...) Top Square Enix titles (FF X, XI, Kingdom Hearts II...) & lesser ones (Radiata Stories, Drakengard & 2...), and just all sorts of cheap old RPGs. Some of the ones shown are not that valuable either, like Dark Cloud 2 or Shadow Hearts: FTNW, but they are pretty good games of solid series, plus I have the guides to complete each set (the Shadow Hearts: FTNW guide is worth more than twice as much as the game). I have way more copies than I need for most of these titles because I just can’t stand seeing great games I love sitting in the discount pile yet still no one’s buying them, so I’d buy all that I can afford which isn’t much since I have no money.

In terms of what I don’t have, I don’t really care for certain game series like .hack, but I do think it’s neat to have all games of a series like that so I’m always willing to get them at the right price too; I’m also sure I am missing out on some cool fighting games that are rare or certain action games I never heard much about, I just hope I’d be aware of them soon to try to get a copy before it’s too late. The PS2 games I need to buy during the next sale on the top of my list right now are Odin Sphere, 2nd copy of Persona 3, and a backup copy of SMT: Nocturne if I can ever find one at regular price.
