Finished this drawing at work today, I'm pretty happy with it though I haven't been as focused on it as I would have after just getting FFXIII at midnight.I was quite pleased with my last Tegan and Sara drawing, but it really bothered me that I didn't do a good job with their likeness, so much so that I skipped what I planned to work on and started this drawing pretty much right away(it didn't hurt that I'm still totally digging their music). I'm not pleased with capturing their characteristics this time around either, though it's getting better.
This seems to be an older picture(Sara don't have that little bump under her lower lip to match Tegan's piercing anymore, I guess now that's gone too), I love how it shows a closeness just like any other photo with both Tegan and Sara, yet looking natural and not arranged. I will be doing another drawing of them and have already decided what I'll be doing, I am pretty excited about it but almost a bit sad for having to spend my drawing time tonight playing FFXIII, can't wait til I get started tomorrow.

This is really great! And I don't think there is anything lacking in the likeness here.. It looks just like them, Tegan especially.

I only spent about 2 hours on FFXIII in the past 2 days, I like what is basically an old school active timed meter battle system that loads to a limited/pre rendered battle area every encounter, instead of the fight everything directly on a map mock new age mmo battle system in XII. I mean it was neat not having to trigger battles by touching the enemy and be able to freely run around during battle like a MMO, but what's the point?
Though I thought it's a bit disappointing that the environments feels almost exactly the same as previous games, only with better graphics and very little else going on, plus the camera is driving me crazy so far... There's been plenty of action with very limited explanation of the setting, so the topics during conversations makes almost no sense, but I seem to recall X & XII being similar in that way too, and I'll just have to keep playing to better understand the story's world.

Yeah, X starts to make sense half way up, but it's one of my favorites. I can't say much about XII, it's the only FF i didn't play, because.. i don't know, didn't felt like it for unknown reasons.
As for now, the opinions i hear about are really divided. One of my friends said it's awesome as it gets, the battle is good enough, enviroments are awesome,etc,etc. Then again, some others say this game is being boring, the enviroments are not really THAT great, the system is not too shaby, and the only reason he keeps on playing after 35hours of gameplay is to finish for the sake of it
