Alright.. I started this a really long time ago in art class, but i never finished it... until today where i figured I should quit procrastinating....and now I can't find the DA artist who did the original photo.
If anyone knows who took the picture that I referenced from, please let me know...
I used graphite on bristol board... 4H-9B + Ebony pencils...
it's really big, i think 22x30 inches.. (this is actually 4 scans, put together on photoshop, thus why it looks kinda weird in different parts)

Ebony pencils? Are those just really dark pencils? xD This practically looks like charcoal, it's so dark.

yeah, they are very near black.
my scanner always ends up adding more contrast when i scan, so it's a little bit lighter in real life.
this is why i hate scanners..
they change the image...

That's awesome. 
Eww, that sucks. :/ My scanner usually scans with too little contrast, and the colours are muted out a lot. they really do change pictures. :c
