This was the final painting of my last notebook. He's kind of a mischievous looking boy, isn't he? Maybe he planted a stink bomb somewhere in that crowd XD Anyway, plaid is really difficult to do, I have learned. It could have been neater, but.... ;^^Watercolor painting!

Again, another fantastically charming piece! I love his facial expression, it really brightens up the monotonous scenery of the school children. I love how sharp and clear his eyes are as well, it makes him stand out even more against the blurred background. So creative!!

In a weird way, this reminds me of Franz Ferdinand. Don't ask why, it just does. The whole style of the thing.

I love his face. It has some realistic element to it. Fascinating nose - it actually looks very kiddish and the mischeivious sort. His eyes are so pretty too!

XD Sometimes having crappy watercolors limits what you can do in a painting. Mine are a decent quality (although I have some cheap Crayola paints that I rarely use!!). But yeah, a brand I recommend is Reeves. They're a pretty good quality for the price (I can get a pack of 18 tubes for under $10)

For a mischievous little boy, he sure has that poker face nailed down. Heh, heh I wouldn't want to get on his bad side.
Yet again, you suprise me with your ablility to watercolor. I've never seen plaid done before and you really pulled it off quite nicely. It is interesting how you did the crowd. Squished together to make it crammed full of students yet blured enough to make him stand out from them all. Nice choice of colors too, the blues and greys really accentuate the cool, cloudy school day.
I can see how plaid might have been such a hard time to paint since there is so many transparancy effects and geometric shapes to deal with.
