Who knew that True Love could be soooooo difficult at times.

Shortly after she became a full time mermaid, Misty saw him, a geuine hunk of a sea sprite there on the deck of a fishing boat. She knew in an instant it was true love at first sigth as she could see the sparkle in his eyes and burst of light surrounding him. (OK maybe it could have been the sunset.) But the boat beat her to the dock.

Managing to dry herself off and for once change her tail back into legs when she wanted it to happen, Misty chased after him as he headed to the tavern.

For Davy, he couldn't believe his bad luck. A beautiful sea sprite just happens to stumble and fall right into his arms. Out of reflex, her arms clasped him close and her wide liquid eyes where enough to claim any sailor from the sea. But only a few hours before, he had seen a mermaid and knew that he was destined for her. He saw true loves recognition in her eyes. (OK maybe it was just a reflection off the water). But he deep down he now knew his destinay was with the sea.

And thus Misty had become her own rival. The other mermaids insisted that she couldn't just "tell him" that she was the same person. And Davy's shipmates, horrified to hear he was doomed to be lost at sea, did everything they could to ensure that he was saved from that sultry siren and instead matched up with that attractive sea sprite who appeared so smitten by him.

But somehow, they finally managed to hook up. If only Misty didn't have to pretend that she was so reluctant about being the "catch of the day". And Davy's friends were never going to believe this fish story when he finally discovered her little secret.
