It already took over my "sacred" places (bookstore), obviously, but when I started walking into music stores and seeing life-sized Edwards...even a women's clothing store! I almost died. And there were bandaids. T-shirts were a given. When I saw the underwear I drew a line.

Thankfully I've only seen the usual crap: posters, books, movies the bandaids. I haven't seen the cardboard cutouts or the underwear (saw that online and it was enough)
I went to a bookstore in the neighbouring city and my friend asked me to pick her up on of the Twilight books in softcover. When I got there I called her up to confirm what book it was she wanted and while I was on the phone with her I made sure my part of the conversation was uber loud so people could hear me. I picked up the books like they were soiled laundry and told her that she must be a good friend of mine if she's making me touch *that* book. That last thing I wanted was some teenage fangirl trying to strike up a conversation with me about how super awesome Edward is. One girl actually heard m, but she just gave me an odd look, and then walked away. I thinking I spooked her.
