Description
Rejuvenate you health, mind, and soul. the tree is a symbol of life, knowledge, and longevity.Started this pattern on paper like the one i did with the patterned cross, i wanted to give it more life, so here it is.
pen on paper => fixed up in adobe illustrator => effects done in photoshop.
I hope you enjoyed it.

I love the symbolism in this, the use of green and white and how the flowers look like lanterns or candle. And for some reason the trea reminds me of a sailing ship too. Bound for new horizons perhaps...

well Im stuck with this book that has a well *Shitty* Cover.. because I cant think of anything to put on it for a cover.. I just got it published but Im able to change the cover and I'd really like to do so.. I'll send you a note with something of what I'm looking for and then let me know if you can or cant ? THX

Wow. The depth of the concept is beautiful in itself. <3 This keeps making me think fractals. It's so pretty. The patternss, the flowers and leaves, and the way they shine in the image make me smile~ I love how the reflection gives the impression that it's sitting over water.

This is a wonderful piece, and very striking. All the elements mesh together beautifully to create a choesive whole, and I can't keep my eyes off it. The pattern is well drawn and the glow really adds to it. Now, I'm not quite sure how you intended for it to be interpreted, but here is my go. At the bottom is the barren stylised tree with no leaves, but then it hits this barrier, and the tree starts to blossom. Now, that is probably wrong, but it's just a really beautiful piece. Even the background goes well. The ring doesnt look quite right though. There is a little 'banding' as it sweeps around, and isnt as symmetrical as the rest of the piece. But really thats a tiny flaw in comparison to the whole piece.

thanks for the input, usually i don't think too much on the logic side of things, i just go with the flow and the feeling it generates. i personally like to make simple, subtle pieces that whisper to its audience.

This is very pretty. The soft shining makes it very attractive whithout losing detail on the little flowers. And the texture and colors in the background givest that relaxing, peaceful feeling. Though I don't know what's the golden ring up to... something nearly "celestial", maybe?

originally it had no ring on it, but without the ring i found the piece a bit too flat... so i place the ring there to give it more depth so that it'd look more like it's floating
