Description Just a mock-up of an NES version of the upcoming Wii game Pandora's Tower, which looks set to out-Castlevania most recent Castlevania games.

Credit goes to Nintendo and Ganbarion for the original game, of course.

As a hypothetical question, if someone set out to program NES assets into a 1987 Pandora's Tower game, would you be willing to create all the sprites?

Haha, I guess that would depend on a few things. If I really thought they could do it (like if they had already done a game before or had some experience), then I would definitely consider doing it.
Of course, if it somehow was a paying gig, then I would definitely be on board, haha.Β 

Either way, I love the idea.

Honestly, I had seen very little of the game when this was made, and it was one of my first demakes, so I had alot of uncertainty as to how to approach it.
Since it will finally be available in the US at the end of the month, perhaps I'll have a chance to do a more faithful version.

I technically got it here in America, but I infer the person I bought it from got it from europe (I got it from washington). I got collector's edition, so I got both the regular sleeve and the special edition tin sleeve BD

Wouldn't know, hasn't hit my territory just yet. The Jp and Euro versions got some pretty solid reviews, though. Crossing my fingers for a an August/September release date to follow up The Last Story, personally.

The way you designed it kind of reminds me of Legend of Zelda.

Not the first, though. Probably more along the lines of the sequel sidescroller bastard child of Nintendo known as Zelda II: Link's Awakening.

It would probably be a bit similar, though without the overhead map parts.

I was shooting a bit more towards Castlevania, honestly.
