Ok, so I'm not criticising Michael Gambon as an actor but jeez, why does the man have to SHOUT?!?! So unlike the Dumbledore in the books...Sorry about the creepyness of the drawings but I'm no cartoonist and drawing realism on a cartoon is a plain no

I totally agree. I don't criticize Gambon but... movie Dumbledore should not supposed to be named Dumbldeore because he does not act like book Dumbledore. And book Dumbldeore is absolutely amazing! *^^*

Lol! Well, as for Gary Oldman, I'm a big fan so I have no complaints there. But I do think David Thewlis as Lupin wasn't the best option... he's a great actor but imo they should have chosen a better-looking guy...

It should've been Ian McKellen to play Dumbledore. I mean, Richard Harris had the right Dumbledore-ness, but Michael Gambon is just... too overly... WOOSHBAM... to play that role.

He was apparantly offered the role of Dumbledore, but on IMDb (I think), he's quoted as saying that because one of the last public statements Richard Harris made was to call McKellen a horrible actor, he didn't think it would be right to accept.
Pity, because I wanted him as Dumbledore from day one.
