Description
When they searched one of the nearby wrecks, a Scarlet Brotherhood vessel called "Rage", the adventurers learned that humanoid plant creatures appeared at nightfall to slaughter the occupants of the captive ships. Or abduct them. It was better not to think about the fate that awaited those people.
But more importantly, the evil influence of the place had a specific origin. Somewhere in the southwest, several hours' walk away.
After a first night fighting the monsters, it became obvious that they could not resist such attacks several nights. One crew member was already dead and several others injured.
They decided to set out at dawn. It was necessary to strike. Straight to the heart.

THAY freed the ship, dissolving the alguae carpet in the process. They almost drowned, but were rescued in time by the newly free vessel. See the image below.
