Guys, I colored something! And I'm learning!I am actually sort of proud of this, but I don't like the design. I swear I've drawn this exact same thing before, and even if I haven't, I'm just cannibalizing myself and using the same elements over and over again. I feel like my imagination is failing me.
I also kind of screwed up what I was going for. Originally, I wanted the large cage-like creature to be dark, powerful, and menacing. The bird skull trapped inside him was supposed to be the only source of light and color, spraying bright liquid everywhere and fighting to get out. The darkness was supposed to be big and suppressive. But I think the white wing-like things kind of ruined that. I also think it would have worked better if the bird skull and the inside of the stomach were the only things I added color to. At the very least, I tried to keep the color on things that were beneath the cage's outer shell (the fleshy holes on the shoulders and neck, the mask, the burning metal where that big face's tongue should be). ...at this point, I feel like I'm just babbling like an idiot. XD
Either way, I really am trying to improve. I hope you guys like this, and I would appreciate ANY criticism/advice. If that's ok.

I really like the details in this picture. I feel the white wings on it's back feels strange for this creature. unless perhaps you could try making the roundness of the wings more sharp and jagged?
I like the inside of the birdcage where the bird skull is inside. The colours are definitely a strange combo to be spewed out of it but its pretty cool.

I like the design! Even if you reuse elements, they can always be mixed into something new. I do agree that the white wings seem a little off. I think that you did a good job on the making the bird skull the source of light.

I want you to remove the wings. I find its feet rather amusing. I'd say it makes me feel attacked by something wildly flailing. It makes me think of loosing control. The... Detailed thing on its back is awesome, looks tight.
