Vielen Dank

Ungeachtet dessen, sehen andere natürlich eigene Werke meist weniger kritisch.

May be an opportunity to check TG out again ... but I really like Vue's interface. Well, anyway ... I currently don't have much time to do CG so I'm mostly photographing these days.

Okay....so this is kinda freaky but Ima share it with ya okay.
So I heard this poem a few years ago and was like "WOW!"
Then last year, an ex-girlfriend I went out with shows me this poem out of the blue. I'm like.....'Okaaay....weird. I know this poem, where did I come across it before?"
Two weeks ago, I come across a revelation and for the first time in a year, I randomly remember this poem.....but only the last line. I couldn't remember who wrote it or how the rest goes. I just remembered the beauty of the last line. I send out to the universe "I wish I could find it. And I'm NOT contacting the ex for it. NO WAY!"
Now the fun part: Last night, I'm watching, wait for it, wait for it....you ready? I'm watching EQUILIBRIUM for the first time in like three years. I come across the scene where his partner recites the poem. Problem is, he only goes from :
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
I'm like "WHOA!" and look up to the heavens and am like....."okay.....now you're just showing off! Stop it!"
I know it's not the whole thing so I decide I will come to the internet today and look for it. This time I had something to go with, I had the last line as well as the author. All I can say is........THANK GOD FOR GOOGLE!
It gives me a whole list and I see your link to this page on the google search result. I'm like: "Eh! Just come in, copy past and leave!"
Now the climax of the freaky part. I mean.....the orgasm of the freaky part.
I read your commentary and of all places you refer to where you first heard it.......wait for it.....wait for it......is EQUILIBRIUM! I'm like "WHOA!"
Dude.....this was totally and uber freaky......jsut thought I'd share it with ya.
Thanks so much for reminding me how this beautiful poem goes.

I can imagine. I am sure that the poem is pretty popular. I know it was turned into a song that highschool choirs sing.

I am not sure if I do. I think I actually might have the mp3 file of another choir singing it, though.

That's cool. Most choral stuff is crap anyway.

The pieces my highschool teacher chose really were stupid. But then again, it was all for competition.
