This takes place during my Sombra x Luna story (first: Stay Back! ) Sombra has shown Luna the Shining Forest and they've danced, so it takes place in the general time after this Shut Up or this In the Past

Sombra led the way along the path, giant luminescent mushrooms and dark grass surrounding them. "These tall blue ones over here are Agaricus Breditus. They're known to........" Luna listened in silence as her captor informed her about all the plants and carious creatures. She had tuned him out a while ago, still a bit rattled that he had unchained her leg. What does he want? she asked herself. Why is he being so...normal?!

"Uh...Princess?" Luna jumped at his voice.

"What?" she snapped, more sharply than she intended. Sombra looked slightly annoyed.

"I was just asking you what you thought of the pavilion," he explained, nodding his head to something around the bend in the path.

"What pavilion?" Luna caught up with him and looked around the bend. "Oh..." A beautiful piece of architecture greeted her. Thick pillars held up a large circlet above the paved ground, creating a little three dimensional halo on the banks of the glowing lake. The whole thing was made from a dark turquoise marble... "Is that... Star marble?!" Luna gasped, putting her hoof up against a pillar for inspection.

Sombra grinned. "I knew you'd like it."

"B-but..." Luna stammered, "that last star marble was destroyed by the changelings! How did you get this?" She narrowed her eyes. "Did you steal it?"

He rolled his eyes. "Of course not. There was a small deposit of it when I first discovered this place. I didn't want it just sitting around being wasted so..." he gestured to the pavilion, "I used it here."

"Well," Luna commented under her breath, "you did a good job."

"What was that?"

"Er, nothing!" Luna marched dramatically to the other side of the pavilion and glared out across the water, her cheeks burning annoyingly.

Behind her, Sombra smirked knowingly. Clearing his throat, he strode up beside her. "I have a proposal." She glanced up at him, not trusting her jittery voice. "I think we should have a dinner here, in the pavilion." Luna started, noticing that her irritating blush was coming back. Shut up, you, she growled at herself. "You haven't had a proper meal since you came down here-"

"Who can I thank for that?" she muttered.

"-and I know you princesses are used to getting big parties wherever you go," he added snarkily. "I think we should both take the time to unwind. Relax. Enjoy ourselves."

"Look who just became the mighty poet," Luna noted in a bored tone. "And w-why should I go to dinner with you, of all ponies?" she retorted haughtily, trying to keep her blush hidden. "Y-you expect me to have a-a candlelit dinner, than slowdance with you around the floor, and maybe go swimming in the blue light of the crystals?" she ended, batting her eyelashes to her sarcastic voice.

Sombra looked down at her, a shadow of a smile playing across his face. "I never said any of that."

That got the princess blushing. Dang, it Luna, she yelled at herself. You and your big mouth. "O-oh, yeah? W-w-well...you were obviously thinking it, so t-the answer is n-NO!"

"'N-no?'" he mimicked, widening his eyes and batting his eye lashes. She growled at him, her face a bright cherry red. "I wasn't aware that I was thinking all that," he added innocently. "So, if you'd rather have a boring, simple meal in a single bowl with no silverware while you're chained up, that's fine with me. I guess there won't be any forest, no soft grass, no nice three-course meal..." He paused, glancing back at her with one of those infuriating smiles. "You're just too scared to try..."

She raised her chin and narrowed her eyes. "Too scared?" she repeated slowly. "Did you just say too scared?!" She stormed across the marble and glared up at him. "For your information, pal, if either of us was scared, it'd be YOU!"

"Moi?" he gasped, holding a hoof to his chest in fabricated shock.

"Yes, you!" Luna growled. "So if you think I wasn't planning on going to dinner because I was scared, than you are DEAD WRONG, buster, 'cause I'M GOING!"

Sombra let silence hold for a moment. "So, dinner tonight? Dress up and all?"

"By Tia's tail, dress up and all!"

I've missed these guuuuuyyyzzz!!!!!!! *cries in my little artfart corner* I've got their whole dinner date planned out [evil chuckle] Luna doesn't know what she's getting herself into, does she?

I gave Sombra some scars just to liven up his design a bit. He seemed a bit flat. I also changed Luna's bindings. The first ones were a little physically impossible with the wing clamps, so she has a strap that goes around them instead.
