I think you made the scene much more friendly looking here. the
aunties here look so much more nicer over their conflicted-ness
over their looks xD If i didn't read the description I would have thought
this was based on something else. This painting is so lovely and I can see
so much in the strokes here.

yes, this is always a topic to think about; when a story for kids has got something dark in it, shoud it be more dark or more "for kids"... I'd like toΒ try one more Coraline scene, the ghost kids behind the mirror. Maybe with them the horror side will be more obvious
