I once read online about an alternate way to bathe your cat:
1. Pour liquid soap into a toilet bowl.
2. Find cat, then toss cat into toilet and hold lid closed.
3. As the cat thrashes about, trying to escape, (s)he will churn the water into a sudsy foam, and clean both itself and the toilet bowl at the same time!
