Description This is part of a bigger picture I haven't finished yet, but I decided to practice different coloring techniques with this lineart.

I thought it might give an interesting result to have almost everything in flat colors, with the exception of the skin and some of the hair highlights.

Feedback is welcome!

The anatomy looks good, though the face is peculiarly small. What jumps out at me is the shading - the hair's shading is nice and soft, though it could use darker shadows, but the skin is too red and tooshiny and the shadows are too dark. Other than that this is rather good.

Thanks!

I enlarged the face, because it was really small initially, but I think it looks ok now.

I don't like the skin values either, but I was experimenting with dark values adjacent to light ones, to help get more contrast.

Thanks for the feedback! Check back for the final piece!

it's great, the face looks reaaallly small though somethings not quite right there. I like the skin coloring choice, but i think your values get a little too dark below her face comparatively.

Cheers!, Digging the lines!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree!

My sister pointed the fact that her face was smaller than her boobs.

I changed it, let me know if you think it's better.

As for the values, I decided to keep them dark because there's a lot of white, and the contrast works. That was my original idea.

Hey the concept is awesome with ^^ the white and all, to help maybe make her skin look a little more lively while contrasting you could try to take the darker brown shaded areas and shift them to a redder color. Not entirely sure if it'll work but to me the highlight/mid levels of the skin are beautiful while still contrasting against that white.

Either way! I love the overall piece definitely caught my eye! Keep it up I'll be watching for the final version!
