I am honored for the request of a critique. I will try to be fair as this is my first time critiquing here on deviant art. Here we go! Your work with the contrast of shadow and light is by far the best part of this picture. There is a lot of depth to the scenery because of it. The use of popping colors was very wise in the trees as it helped to draw the eye around the page, helping the viewer to enjoy the picture as a whole. Your skill with watercolor is nothing to sneeze at! My favorite part about this is tied between the way you painted the boots or the hazed trees in the background. Again your creation of depth is amazing! As for the figure, as you move on to draw more people, I suggest you try spending time with figure drawings. The colors are fantastic on the figure, but it more has to do with the position and "weight" of the girl. The only major point of critique I have is that she seems a little weightless, as in she feels like she isn't standing ON the stairs, but standing a little weightless in a setting with stairs. Figure drawing helps remedy this. Yet, as a "major" critique, it doesn't amount to much as the entirety of the picture is grand in its beauty and enticing mystique. Good job and happy painting!

Again, we can admire your perfect lightwork. It's nicely done and feels both real-feeling and mystical at the same time. The subject is chosen very interestingly, and the play on contrast between the gray-blue of winter-stones-trees-coat and the red of apples-scarf-lips is a nice technique to make the whole thing looking really attractively. The detalisation of frost-painted things is amazing. The girl is done mostly great, but there is exactly one not exactly perfect thing about this painting - her lips seem to be changed after the painting was done, they a little bit differ in technique from the girl herself. Mam już takie włosy, taki płaszcz, taką torebkę i takie buty. Kupię sobie czerwony szalik i czerwona pomadkę tylko po to, żeby tak szałowo wyglądać i mówić, że to ja na tym obrazku jestem, taki plan.
