A large commission based on the Hades and Persephone mythology. I think it's actually a sweet, if not a little tragic love story. I always hated how Hades gets portrayed as a bad guy in modern day fiction. In Greek lore he was really just sort of melancholy and lonely guy.Related content

I think the fact that the story is called the Rape of Persephone (and rape as in abduction) might be the reason people don't like him as much. You might think its sweet, but abduction of someone you "love" is usually frowned upon.
About the drawing, I like how you drew Hades. Most people draw him in black, with black hair and really pale skin, but the way you drew him is refreshing

Well its fairly relative, considering she was living with -Zeus- already, and in several versions of the story Hades was robbed of his wits by a magic arrow.
