Its quite alright, I just don't like the blocky faces of the stallions, and mares facesΒ are easier to draw

I usually make the faces semi-realistic so that it looks fine for both genders. I like mixing in my own style of MLP.

Its hard to make a completely original OC that doesn't remind someone of a show character in some way with the OC being a special snowflake or one of the overly exaggerated ones, but im glad you like it

Nothing to worry about, making OCs that look like official ponies. I just realized my beloved OC "Stargazer" looks uncannily similar to a recolored Lyra with wings (yes, she has both wings and a horn, though since she's a different type of pony called a "lightmare" I don't really consider her an alicorn,) but I don't really care.
