Acrylic on Canvas, 15 hours over a few months.this came out better than I thought. I wanted to do a landscape, but I couldn't do it on earth. though the mountain is based on the mountain I live near, mount Washington.
Finally used my paints and brush sets.
I had a lot of fun, and I learned something important. That it wasn't about the medium for this painting, my techniques crossed over from using photoshop. Certain things took some figuring out though, like how I couldn't use layers. I'm so used to that.
Another thing I want to say is that. I read something a while ago that said its not the materials you use that make you a good artist. It had been years since I touched canvas with paints, but all the things I learned doing all the Photoshop paintings worked on canvas, makes me feel like a real artist.

It came out really well. And it does bear a remarkable resemblance towards your usual style.
To be honest though, in my experience the techniques only seldom translate well between the media, or maybe I just learned the wrong techniques.
The tree reminds me of Morrowind for some reason, though... not sure why.

yeah like, putting glow on things is a lot more difficult using traditional methods. Everything has to be planned ahead, where in photoshop If I screw up then its a lot easier to fix. But it came out looking like one of mine, lol.
Your experience would be correct. I meant to say, "for this painting it wasn't about the medium, my techniques crossed over..." I worded it wrong
