Description
So another piece of video game art in the spirit of showing support to its community...Megaman Legends 3 was recently canceled, and this is a huge blow to the community. When we last left Megaman Trigger, he was stranded on a distant planet in space. Ten years ago, Megaman Legends 2 left us with this cliffhanger, and Capcom announced that Legends 3 was on the way...for a time. That's no longer the case, but a community of Megaman Fans have risen to show their support for the blue bomber.

I like the texture behind the colors. I have to learn how to do that.

It's a simple grunge texture, set to an "overlay" blend mode in Photoshop, just under the lineart layer!

Can people buy cdroms that have textures? It would be nice to have things like metal and wood.

I'm sure you can! I have a lot of textures from CDs that came with instructional books. There's also a lot of free ones on google, just search for the specific textures with "large" selected on the left side of the page.

But seriously, Capcom's Megaman franchise was a part of my childhood, and I LOVED Legends! Heck, I'm playing through the collection of classic X games!
I would have been SUPREMELY curious to see what they'd do with Megaman Legends 3! After all, Capcom fell back on classic elements with their latest Megaman games, so I think it would have been a mix of updated stuff and good old fashioned gameplay!

Well, Legends 3 was canceled...so right now, they're doing nothing. But the prototype looked like a really strange change from the original game (you don't even play as MegaMan Trigger, but still). 
But that's so cool to hear you're a big Megaman fan too!! I loved the originals but could never beat them, they were too difficult for me (most NES games were...), but I've played through most of the X series myself as well! And Legends is my all-time favorite MegaMan series. Which game is your favorite??

MMX4 will always hold a place in my heart. It's the first X game I got for the playstation and the first where you could play as Zero. Watching my cousin demonstrate it, the special moves there always seemed so much cooler. XD
Also a big MM8 fan. That's the OTHER game I got for the playstation! I got the new ones of course, and they're pretty good, but as far as I'm concerned, those two are the best to me.

Awesome! 8 and X4 are favorites of mine too! However, the english dubs of them both were....well...not so great! haha The anime scenes themselves were cool, but some of the dialogue was awful hahaha

MegaMan Legends 3 still has 2 chances left:
1. The reason why Capcom cancelled the project was because there wasn't enough people joining the US devroom! So maybe if more people join the US devroom, they might resume it again!
2. The creators of Tail Concerto and Solatorobo are interested in continuing the project if the fans really want it!
So MegaMan Trigger might get off Elysium after all!
