A villain who was once an ordinary man with a job as a fireman. But during a mission to stop a burning build a victim was trapped and he and a team went in to rescue the victim. only for him to sadly not make it out of there. He got trapped and at that moment had his skin searing in flames. But as he was burning alive an explosion in the city happen and he was affected by said explosion giving him Mutant powers. But due to his brunt skin left him more deformed. As he was going home to tell his wife and kid he is alive. His powers freaked them out and he left in shame and freak out by his ability to touch and burn things. He swore revenge on his team for leaving him there to burn like he did.
