A true testament to the bravery of the Stormcasts that they meet such horrors head-on even if it means only death. There's little protection for any soul surrounded by an army that devours them.

Pieces like this that have a narrative make warhammer so interesting to me. There are the board games (not appealing to me), video games and books, but artists always let it seem the most epic with their fanart. The nice thing is all the stories that are told in the books can be drawn into a epic scenery, so there is endless room for intepretation and ways to draw them.

Totally agree with you! I grew up with the art of Karl Kopinski, Adrian Smith and Paul Bonner, those illustrations in the warhammer books inspired me so much, I wouldn´t be doing this if it wasnt for them.
